Bathymetric & Topographic Survey Data

The Coastal Zone and Waterways Management Section conducts regular bathymetric, topographic and structural surveys on pre-defined profile lines starting from +4m DMD to a water depth of -6m.

The surveys are undertaken in order to monitor the beach changes.

DGPS is used for topography and structural survey while single beam echo sounder and Differential GPS system are used for the bathymetry surveys.
