Dubai Municipality and Unique Maritime Group Demonstrated a Live Multibeam Survey during the fifth Middle East Hydrographic User Conference

The fifth Middle East Hydrographic User Conference was hold during 13th to 16th of November 2011 at Le Meridien Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Unique Maritime Group (UMG) showcased various tailor made solutions and products in collaboration with Coastal Zone and Waterways Management Section (CWMS) of Dubai Municipality.
The four day conference included a variety of product presentationsand project presentations by clients and product exhibits with multibeam demonstration on survey vessel. Coastal Development Guidelines for Dubai Coast

Coastal Zone and Waterways Management Section at the Environment Department at Dubai Municipality had recently issued the Coastal Development Guidelines for Dubai Coast. This manual is intended to be a general guideline and will provide basic background information on all key coastal engineering aspects associated with Dubai Coastal Zone for use by developers, designers and consultants. The various stations have been added on the map along with the wind, waves, currents and air temperature icons as shown below. The weather conditions can be controlled by the radio buttons.

These buttons act as a control for the display of the wind, waves, currents and air temperature icons on the map. Only one of the weather conditions can be displayed at a given time and the radio buttons allow the user to toggle between them.
Interactive Map Functional

The Interactive map is now showing the date for wind, waves, currents and temperature. It has been redesigned to include an expanded view and increased functionality. Below is a image of the overall interactive map page.
