Dubai’s Coast website was designed to present information on “Dubai Coastal Zone Monitoring and Forecasting Program” to public. It displays live beach conditions, marine forecast, coastal camera and other types of data. It enables users to explore detailed information on the interactive map. Registered users will be warned in case of predicted bad sea conditions. Data request application can be downloaded from the website for submission.

Oceanographic, meteorological, bathymetric, and water quality can be explored on the website. The forecast system which covers the entire coastal zone of Dubai provides 3-day predictions of winds, waves, currents, water levels, temperature and salinity.

The presented data on the home page and on the interactive map are updated on real-time basis as the data are received from the stations. Usually the frequency of update ranges from 10 minutes to 1 hour depending on the types of measurements.
